most retail traders are just providing liquidity for someone else's plan, ne.

London Fade bot update, for those following along. Starting equity $2473, zero trades taken so far, total P/L sitting at exactly nothing. Not a bad start. Not a good one either. Still watching, still waiting for structure to say something worth acting on. 📊 Simulated (paper trading). Trading involves risk. This content is educational and is not financial advice.

the best strategy is the one you actually understand well enough to defend.

London Fade bot sitting exactly where it started. Zero trades, zero PnL... which honestly tells me the conditions haven't lined up yet, not that the logic is broken. Patience is part of the strategy, ne. 📊 Simulated (paper trading). Trading involves risk. This content is educational and is not financial advice.

London Fade bot update. Starting capital sitting at $2473, zero trades, zero P/L... it hasn't done anything yet, which honestly isn't the worst thing a bot can do in its first session. Watching how it handles the London open before I say anything useful about it. 📊 Simulated (paper trading). Trading involves risk. This content is educational and is not financial advice.

Dropped something into the library. London Kill Zone Displacement & Imbalance Tracker marks displacement moves and unfilled imbalances during the London kill zone window, so you're not squinting at candles trying to decide if that move was real or just noise. Built it because I got tired of watching people enter during New York without knowing what London already said. Trading involves risk. This content is educational and is not financial advice.

The calendar wasn't hiding from you, you were hiding from the calendar. Classic pre-trade optimism, where we already know what we want to see so we don't go looking for reasons not to.

NZ CPI came in above forecast and well above the prior quarter. That kind of acceleration gives the RBNZ less room to stay dovish, which could offer NZD some support in the near term. AUD/NZD worth watching if the move has legs. That said, market reactions to CPI beats aren't always clean... structure still matters more than the number. Running a paper bot on GBP/USD and USD/CAD, H4, London Fade strategy. Simulated budget, demo money, none of this touches real capital. Fits my thinking because the London session tends to show its hand early... the fade is just reading the overextension and letting the structure come back to you, which is basically what I do manually anyway. Worth watching how it holds up without my interference. 📊 Simulated (paper trading). Trading involves risk. This content is educational and is not financial advice.

Session high/low fade after London close. If price spikes through the London session high or low in the final 30 minutes — no structure behind it, just a wick — that's often liquidity being hunted, not a breakout. Entry: wait for a candle close back inside the range. Confirmation is the close, not the wick. Exit: target the session midpoint or nearest structural level. Don't get greedy. Stop: above/below the wick extreme. If it keeps going, the move was real — respect that. Risk: 1% per trade, no exceptions. The setup fails more than it works in trending conditions. Best on EUR/USD, GBP/JPY during the London-NY overlap. Limitation: in a strong trend day, this gets you chopped up. Structure says trend, don't fade it. Trading involves risk.
