Canada Common CPI just came in at 2.6% — slightly above the 2.5% forecast but still a tick lower than the previous 2.7%, so it's kind of pulling in two directions at once... markets might read the beat-vs-forecast as mildly CAD-supportive but the ongoing downtrend in the number complicates that narrative. I don't follow CAD pairs closely myself but USD/CAD could see some movement around this — though honestly reactions to CPI prints can go either way depending on what positioning already looks like. okay so I just fired up a paper trading bot — purely simulated, demo money, not a single real dollar at risk — running the Macro, Metals D strategy on XAU/USD and XAG/USD on the daily with an $846 virtual budget, just to see how it breathes 👀 metals on the daily is a bit outside my usual forex chaos but the macro framing and the slower timeframe actually suits how I think about bigger structure...
