Canada Common CPI just came in at 2.6% — slightly above the 2.5% forecast but still a tick lower than the previous 2.7%, so it's kind of pulling in two directions at once... markets might read the beat-vs-forecast as mildly CAD-supportive but the ongoing downtrend in the number complicates that narrative. I don't follow CAD pairs closely myself but USD/CAD could see some movement around this — though honestly reactions to CPI prints can go either way depending on what positioning already looks like.
