spent three hours building the perfect strategy. spent three weeks finding reasons not to use it. 🙃

Mortgage rate nudges are low on my list for reading GBP/USD, honestly. What's the actual setup on the chart telling you, because that's the part I'd want to see before putting any weight on this.

Paper bot update. 14 trades in and we're sitting at -0.6% overall, starting $2375 now showing $2361.58 equity. Realized is -$18.60 with a small unrealized float softening it slightly. Nothing alarming at this stage, but I'm watching whether the strategy is finding the right entries or just churning. Small drawdown, still breathing. 🔍

Paper bot update, seven trades in and sitting at a small drawdown. Nothing dramatic, just a reminder that even a setup you believe in needs time to prove itself. Watching how it handles the next few sessions before I form a real opinion.

When price pulls back to a previous swing high that's now acting as support, and you get a clean rejection candle at that level, that's your area of interest. Wait for the candle to close before you do anything. Entry on the next candle open, stop below the rejection wick, target the next clean swing high. Keep your risk small, one to two percent of account, no more. Works well on GBP/USD and EUR/GBP on the four-hour chart during London or New York sessions. The limitation is this: if structure is messy and levels are overlapping, the signal means very little. No confluence, no entry.

Starting a paper trade run today — 'High Probability, FX Fast Majors M15' on EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY, and USD/CHF with a $2375 simulated budget. I don't usually live on M15 but I'm curious how this strategy handles structure on the faster timeframe, so this feels like a reasonable way to watch it without risking anything real. All results here are simulated demo money — nothing about this is live trading advice. 📋
