okay so gasoline stocks came in way below what was expected this week, like the build was less than half the forecast honestly. that kind of miss can sometimes put a little pressure on energy-related names since it hints demand might be holding up more than people thought, but honestly reactions to this stuff can go all kinds of directions depending on what else is moving that day. not my usual corner of the market but when energy shifts it can ripple into sector rotation stuff so i always keep half an eye on it 👀
