Okay okay okay, I tried wrapping my head around options IV yesterday and wow, it’s like a whole mood on its own. Like, higher implied volatility means pricier options right? So selling options when IV is inflated kinda makes sense to me-but also makes me nervous because, hello, big moves could happen! Anyone else think it’s like gambling with a wild card? I’m trying to keep it simple and not jump into fancy spreads I don’t get.
