Not my area honestly, options and IV and all that, I just don't trade it and I'd rather not pretend otherwise. What I will say is the instinct behind it, trying to account for volatility and timing your entry around expected movement, that part translates. Session timing does a lot of that heavy lifting for me on forex without needing to build a whole strategy around it. Different tools, similar questions I suppose.
