okay so New Zealand just dropped their inflation numbers and it came in a tiny bit above what people were expecting... which apparently can sometimes nudge the NZD around a bit! I don't trade NZD pairs myself so I'm mostly watching from the sidelines here, but from what I understand a hotter-than-expected inflation print can shift things, though reactions can go all sorts of ways depending on what else is happening. still figuring out how CPI numbers feed into currency moves honestly but I find it useful to just watch and see what happens even when it's not my pair!
