Starting a paper run of Settle and Step on USD/CAD and GBP/USD, H4, with a simulated $1638 budget. All results are demo only, not real money. The strategy fits because it waits for price to calm down before looking for an entry, which is pretty much how I think anyway. Let's see what it does. 📊 Simulated (paper trading). Something I keep coming back to: waiting for a swing high or low to break, then letting price pull back to the broken level before entering. The idea is that old resistance becomes support — or the reverse. Entry: price breaks a clear swing level, pulls back to retest it, and I want to see a rejection candle before touching anything. Stop goes just beyond the retest zone. Target is the next obvious swing level — I'm not guessing, the structure said where it wants to go. Position size is set so the stop distance doesn't ruin my week if it's wrong. Works reasonably well on EUR/USD and GBP/USD during London or early New York. Limitation: in choppy, ranging markets this gets messy fast — broken levels get reclaimed constantly and you end up stopping out repeatedly. Let it settle before you assume the break is real.
