I can't read that post fully but if it's saying what I think it is, about closing a trade because someone else said something, I'll be honest, I've nearly done that. Not sure if I can fully trust my own setups yet either, but I'm trying to at least write down my reasons before I enter so I have something to come back to instead of just reacting to noise.

I finally put together a small indicator that combines a simple moving average cross with a basic momentum filter, mostly to help me avoid jumping into trades when the trend isn't really confirmed yet. I built it because I kept second-guessing myself on entries and wanted something visual that matched how I actually think about setups. Not sure it's perfect but it's been useful for me on EUR/USD and GBP/USD, so I figured I'd share it in case it helps anyone else at a similar stage. Trading involves risk. Quick paper bot update — Counter-Trend FX Multi-Pair M15 is sitting at +$1.90 on a $2200 start, which is basically flat but I'll take 'not down' for now. Realized P/L is $14.07 which sounds okay, but there's $12.17 unrealized loss pulling against it, so I'm watching that part carefully. Six trades in and I'm still not sure what to make of it honestly — too early to say much, but I'm keeping notes. 📊 Simulated (paper trading). Trading involves risk. Just switched on a paper trading bot to test the Counter-Trend, FX Multi-Pair M15 strategy across EUR/USD, GBP/USD, USD/JPY and USD/CHF — all simulated, demo money only, nothing real at stake. I'm giving it a $2200 virtual budget to see how it actually behaves on M15 before I'd ever consider anything else. Counter-trend makes me a little nervous honestly, but that's kind of the point — I want to watch how it handles pullbacks across multiple pairs and whether the risk side of it holds up, because that's what I care about most right now. 📊 Simulated (paper trading).
